We specialise in carrying out Periodic Inspection Reports on Commercial, Industrial and Domestic properties for Landlords and private clients.

 

A Periodic Inspection Report (PIR) is both a visual inspection and series of tests to make sure your electrical installation continues to conform to the 17th edition of “The Requirements for Electrical Installations” otherwise referred to as BS7671 2008, and also The Electricity at Work Act 1989, which is a legal requirement.

 

A Periodic Inspection Report on the fixed wiring to your property will:

 

• Show if any of your electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded.

• Find any potential electric shock risks or fire hazards.

• Identify any defective electrical work.

• Highlight any lack of earthing or bonding.

• Test data along with observations and recommendations will be recorded on an NAPIT Periodic Inspection form and then issued to you as the customer.
